Bracelet "Mix", various types of shells, 18 - 20cm

Three beautiful varieties of Mother of Pearl from the South Seas were used for this ocean jewel: the colorful iridescent Paua Shell (Haliotis Iris), the white mother-of-pearl of the pearl oyster (Pinctada Maxima) and the brown-patterned mother-of-pearl of the porcelain snake (Cyprus Tigris Linnaeus).

The colorful shells were already known to the Maori, the indigenous people of New Zealand, and were coveted as a delicacy and magnificent decorative material. Today, the mussels are cultivated on farms. No endangered species are used for the jewelry.

Each paua shell bracelet comes in a pretty organza jewelry bag and an information card (German/English) about the paua shell.
