The violet-colored jewelry box is composed of a Mussel shell (Corbicula fluminea) and many small dark mother-of-pearl pieces of the Otter shell (Lutraria australis).
With a size of 7 x 6 cm and a height of 4.0 - 4.5 cm, the box is suitable for rings or other pieces of jewelry, for example.
To ensure that neither the contents nor the box are scratched, the inside of the purple shell box is lined with black fabric.
