Classic larimar ring with a drop-shaped cabochon in a fancy cut - very decorative!
The ring shank and setting of the Larimar are made of highly polished, rhodiniert 925 silver; silver weight approx. 4.98g.
The cabochon is approx. 10.5 x 8.8mm in size and weighs approx. 2.78ct.
Dimensions of the gemstone ring: height 21mm, width 19mm; ring size 17 (54).
Larimar is very difficult to cut due to its mineralogical nature, as many stones break in the first processing step due to the fibrous nature of the material. Only about 100 grams of cabochons are usually obtained from 1kg of rough stones, which can then be further processed into Larimar jewelry.
Larimar is particularly popular as Silver jewelry, as this Precious metal brings out the color of the gemstone very well.
